Have you not yet learned that My delight in you is not dependent on what you do? The Israelites were disobedient for centuries, yet My love for them and My pursuit of them is all over the Bible. Is it not more so with you? You have been washed, chosen, bought, redeemed, and made righteous. Listen to Me, and know this: You are my daughter. I am proud of you. When you weep, I weep. When you feel pain, I feel pain. When you are happy and filled with joy, so am I.
Oh, Beloved, don’t miss this! Don’t take it lightly, and don’t skip over it fast to get to “more important” things. This is of utmost importance.
Does this love and approval I have for you mean that you have no room to grow or that I have no discipline for you? Absolutely not. You know yourself that you are not perfect. My discipline, however, does not look like you think it does. It is gentle. It is tender. It is loving. I do not condemn you for your mistakes and shortcomings, and I am not the bringer of shame. My kindness leads to repentance.
Oh, dear one… You are so beautiful! You don’t realize it, but you dance through this life with such grace… Yes, it’s a gift from Me, but that doesn’t change how much I delight in you. You still choose to use My gifts, to steward them, to accept them… You chose Me.
That brings me so much joy. You bring Me joy.
Oh, darling, let go of your desire for others’ approval! Choose the freedom that I offer you! You desire other gifts (gifts that I long to give), but you must first say yes to he ones in front of you. Receive My freedom! Let go of the opinions of others and rest in the knowledge that I love you no matter what. I will guide you. I will teach you. I AM the Shepherd and Overseer of your soul.
