Hi friends and family,
Just writing to let you all know that my second deadline that needed to be met by August 15th has officially been reached! Thank you to each and every person who is giving and praying. It means so much to me!
And also to whoever anonymously gave $500 right before training camp, thank you so much!
As training approached my prayer was that God would go before me in visible ways as He did with the Israelites as they exited Egypt and their slavery. I am so prone to second guessing myself or wondering how the heck I ended up going on this journey and even though I am so excited and looking forward to all that is to come, I also know that only God could call me to this because…. well… you guys know me. =)
Every time I log onto the World Race financial page and see visible reminders that the Lord is working and making a way, it pushes me forward even when my natural feet feel the need to make an about face and run back to the home and friends and comforts I know and love.
So, thanks for being visible reminders to me and for being the means by which this journey is being made possible. I know that I will never forget what I am about to see and do and experience and I am truly grateful to each person who is praying, giving and standing beside of me in friendship and excitement.
