One country down, ten to go.

Adios Honduras, ola El Salvador.

Entering El Salvador to begin a new month I felt a warmth growing in my heart the further we drove into this country. We were on our way to spend five days debriefing the month now behind us. And what better way to do that than by spending five days by the ocean. Holla to the surfers. El Sunzal, a surfers capital if the world. Hippies, hipsters, couch surfers and dreamers welcomed. We met so many people from all over the world and able to share a little bit of our journey. Meeting with our squad coaches, or as I like to call them -squad parents to process thoughts, lessons and trials from the month past.

Allow us to remember my somewhat best friend in the world race…flex-adaptability. The morning we were leaving to our new ministry host, my team and I found out it changed. Welcome to the world race. Now heading into the Capitol to with our contacts Suzy and Jenny this warmth continued to grow as soon as I met these girls. I didn't (and still don't entirely know…clearly) what God has in store for my team but have this feeling of excitement in me. With much needed team time, it turns out our team is the only one going solo. Everyone else is still together as a squad.

It's going to be a good month.

Pulling up to a salon we were welcomed to our new home for the next 3 weeks. Suzy (19) & Jenny (22) were our young fearless contacts to guide us through the upcoming month. GPS is the name of their ministry and we were informed that we would be working with Special needs children, teaching classes to kindergarten students, feeding the homeless and working with a youth ministry called Escala.

My team and I are ready to take on El Salvador!
