for not blogging in over a month… (all are true cases)

I was sick with malaria. (See blog: ‘There’s no place like
home’)

I was sitting by a pool journaling about what the Lord is
revealing to me about beauty. (See blog: ‘Beauty is a risk for me.’)

I was in a family meeting with our contacts that had the
same suspense level as an episode of Survivor.

I was praying for my friend laid out on a hospital floor.

I was finding the best place in our neighborhood to get
chips (fries) and a coke. (The New Jumbo Club)

I was accompanying my friend to the ER to get fluids
restored to her intravenously.

I was taking part in a local Tanzanian music video (dance
moves and everything).

The power was out. Again. And again. And right now.

I was singing praises to Jesus in a hospital where a demon
possessed woman was screaming in the next room.

I was playing football (soccer) with neighborhood kids.

I was having my iPod stolen.

I was having my iPod returned.

I was bonding with my team while massively losing at Monopoly.

I was taking a ferry to an island. (See blog:
‘Zanzibarbarians’)

I was on a 33 hour busride and felt too nauseous.

I was getting a skirt made by a local seamstress (see skirt below).

I was waiting for my friend to produce a stool sample for testing.

I was watching season 1 of 24 finding out what made Jack
Bauer, Jack Bauer.

I was listening to the Mike Bickle’s Song of Solomon series
and finding out more of what His thoughts are towards me.

I was preparing a seminar to share with our church here.

I was helping my 19-year-old Tanzanian host brother set up
facebook and gmail, both of which he had never heard of before. (See blog: ‘Be
free’)

I was teaching English to a group of eager women. (See blog:
‘Ballack Obama’)

I was having every computer problem possible at the Internet
Café and in an hour only successfully posted on one friend’s facebook wall.

I was telling the story of the Prodigal Son to a community
police force.

It was too hot to do anything except lay on my bed.

Okay, excuses are over. I hope you enjoy these blogs; I’ve
been writing them and holding them until I was able to post… (they
are in chronological order). Love you!
