Month 11 – South Africa
Dear Family and Friends,
What a year it has been! The World Race has absolutely been the most life changing experience I’ve ever had. Over the past 11 months I have traveled to China, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Japan, Italy, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Poland, Swaziland and South Africa sharing the love of Christ with people from all walks of life.
I have witnessed poverty, disease and brokenness that is unimaginable, but those things don’t compare to the amount of hope, healing and restoration that I have seen God do in the lives of so many.
Our squad partnered with dozens of ministries around the world who all shared the common goal of serving the Kingdom of God. And my role as Squad Leader has been the most challenging yet rewarding position I have ever been in.
Yet none of this would be possible without the love and generosity that I have received from all of you. Every prayer and every penny was felt and appreciated.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey. Thank you for every word of encouragement, every prayer, every donation and everyone who trusted that the Lord would use me this year for His purposes. Words truly cannot express my gratitude.
It’s hard to believe that in just under a week I will be back on American soil and this chapter of my life will be over. But I am confident that the World Race has opened doors and brought me opportunities that I never thought would be possible and I’m so excited to see where it takes me!
