Life sure has been busy lately; but despite the tiredness, it is a good type of busy. My mother has come for a visit from Ohio and has spoiled me right to death! She has made a couple great meals, filled up my gas tank, and even bought me some home goods. (Seriously, I should have gotten a dish drainer and hot mats long ago…they make life so much easier.)
I feel bad for her though. I have been working 10.5 hr shifts for the most of the days she has been here. So in addition to spending the days alone at my house doing puzzles or cleaning, she has had to deal with the shell of a person that I can be after a long day. She is patient though and loves her alone time here in the mountain more than I thought she would.
As for me, I have been falling down with power tools on the biggest hill I have ever had to weed-whack! This is one of our 2 acre bear habitats so this may take a while.
