I HATE talking about money. Whenever I go to the bank to make a deposit and they ask if I want my balance I always say NO! (What you don't know wont hurt you.. right???) Life would be so much easier if money wasn't an issue. But unfortunately thats just not reality.
When I signed up for the World Race and got accepted I was beyond excited, and then I saw how much it cost. I was immediately intimidated at the price tag, and then began to second guess my decision. I spoke with my long time friends, Sarah White, who is currently on the field with the World Race, she made me realize that God has all the money in the world, and he WILL provide. My doubt is just the enemy trying to scare me away from furthering the gospel of the Lord. After speaking with her I realized how foolish I was to be anxious about money.
Phillippians 4:19 “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”
I need to raise $15,000 in order to go on the World Race.
This covers all of my expenses on the field, including transportation, and room and board.
Here is what the money goes to:
65% World Racer (me)
17% Administration Fees
12% World Race Development Program
4% Field Support
2% Training Camp
My 65% covers the following:
$4,235 for our intercontinental travel for the year
$460 per month –broken down as
3.75/day for food
5.25/day for lodging
3.00/day for transportation
3.33/day for long distance travel (buses, trains) and miscellaneous supplies
-I need to raise (about) $3,000 for everything else.
I dont know if you have been tent or giant backpack shopping lately, but gear is not cheap. I will need to raise an additional $3,000 for all of my gear and for spending money while on the field. If you would like to donate to my personal bank account you can send a check to :
