My life had never gotten to a point where I was so entirely hungry and ready to know God and trust Him, until this past year ended. I begged Him to give me what I wanted. I wanted my happily ever after with a perfect boy and God said NO. He said it’s not time. He told me He wanted me to be content with HIM. He wanted me to become who I was supposed to be in HIM. He wanted me to trust Him. I finally realized, after begging for my own, that His will is ALWAYS in my best interest. All I have to do is walk alongside Him and TRUST that He will follow through.
So this is it, THIS trip is my next step.
God told me to do this.
This is me trusting and obeying God’s call. 9 months living in Thailand, South Africa, and Nicaragua. He’s told me to GO and LOVE the world. He wants me to make DISCIPLES and live in COMMUNITY full of discipleship and growth. He has given my heart a desire for spontaneity and adventure. He has given me a passion for serving. I cannot wait to learn and grow, I just want to be closer and closer to my Father.
So yes, you read it right. 9 MONTHS in 3 COUNTRIES. I will spend 3 months in each country. I leave at the beginning of September and I will return in May. As I prepare for this trip, I would love your prayers. Prayers for EVERYTHING. The countries, my squad, fundraising… literally everything.
I am filled with joy as I take this step.
