The Son of Man came to search out and to save those who were lost.
REFLECTION. Do not be deluded into thinking that you are authorized, or, what is worse, obliged, to judge others. True love follows Christ’s example which does not seek to judge, but to save.
PRAYER. Eternal God, You have boundless mercy and patience. Infuse these sentiments into my heart that I may bear fruits of mercy and peace.
Loving your neighbor through Jesus Christ’s example is what I believe to be one of the toughest aspects of our faith that everybody struggles with. We are constantly at battle with judging others around us, instead of focusing on the fact that we are all brothers and sisters, children of God. We must love each other as He loves us and we must pray to our Holy Father for the strength and the will to do so.
Do not be afraid to love one another, if a time of struggle comes, have faith that God will give you the words to say and the will to do exactly as you should.
