Tonight I’m reminded of how Great our God is….I’m so thankful and humbled that I serve a God who is the God of the Impossible. There are so many things that happen in life that can overwhelm us…bills…relationships…jobs…school…the list can go on and on…tonite I’m blessed but a bit overwhelmed at the response my Garage Sale has received! I am sooo thankful for the many many donations I have received from friends and family that all will go towards my World Race funds…however I also found out that A TON of work goes into organizing a multi-family garage sale! Tonight I walked around counting numerous items and thanking God…thanks God for 3 couches…thanks God for 4 crock pots…etc…while I counted I was overwhelmed with the thought ” I HAVE TO PRICE AND ORGANIZE ALL OF THESE THINGS!!” Haha…after a minor heart attack moment God brought to mind all of the times in His Word where he performed amazing miracles doing the impossible! He turned water to wine, he calmed storms, he walked on water…. “Wow I’m pretty sure I can handle a Garage Sale Carly… remember all I have done for you already…just Trust, everything will be fine” He told me….So tonight I’m taking the time on this blog just to thank Him for being involved in the very details of my life…for caring about my fundraising…for caring about my Garage Sale…and for caring about me 🙂

Psalm 20

For the director of music. A psalm of David.

 1 May the LORD answer you when you are in distress; 
       may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.

 2 May he send you help from the sanctuary 
       and grant you support from Zion.

 3 May he remember all your sacrifices 
       and accept your burnt offerings. 
       Selah

 4 May he give you the desire of your heart 
       and make all your plans succeed.

 5 We will shout for joy when you are victorious 
       and will lift up our banners in the name of our God. 
       May the LORD grant all your requests.

 6 Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed; 
       he answers him from his holy heaven 
       with the saving power of his right hand.

 7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, 
       but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.

 8 They are brought to their knees and fall, 
       but we rise up and stand firm.
