Ok so updates….
I’ve now created MAGNETS which are pretty sweet if I do say so myself 🙂 I’ve created them so that you will have a constant reminder to PRAY for me while on this adventure!
If you go to 5 Stones I’ll be passing them out in 2 weeks after presenting at church. If you do not go to 5 Stones Community Church please get creative and make sure that I have your address so I can send you one! I will be sending them in the mail in the next week so please get your addresses to me soon! Thanks!!
God has been slowly bringing in a few donations so far toward my financial support. I was recently informed I MUST have $1,000 of my support in by June 10, 2010. This goes toward the 10 day training week that we must participate in. It will span from July 24,2010-August 1, 2010 in Atlanta, GA. I am encouraged because in the past week I have received two separate stories of God providing financial needs for friends of friends that I have. These came at much needed times and I was great encouraged by them, thanks friends! If you have any other stories to share…send them my way! ([email protected])
I received this information about India this week. India is our first stop on The World Race…and I felt this information was a great help in knowing how to pray more specifically for this country and the needs we will encounter while ministering there.
“India is a major source, destination, and transit country for trafficking and the exploitation of men, women, and children. Men are trafficked to work in brick kilns, rice mills, agriculture, and embroidery factories. Women and young girls are trafficked for prostitution and forced marriages. Children are subjected to forced labor as factory workers, domestic servants, beggars, and agriculture workers, and have been used as armed combatants by some terrorist and insurgent groups”
Please partner with me this week to pray specifically toward the trafficking and exploitation of the men, women, and children of India….thanks everyone!
