Welcome to my first official fundraiser for the World Race! If you’re wondering what this crazy adventure is, or why I am doing it, you can click here for more information and details about my journey.
I am so excited to start this adventure, and along with supporting me with your encouragement and prayers, I’d also love for you to consider financially supporting me. In order to participate in this program, I will need to raise $13,800 total, which will cover all my expenses while on the field.
It’s a daunting number, right? So how am I going to do that?
My plan is to work through the summer, as a nanny and a waitress. My parents have pledged to match whatever I earn but that still only gets me half way there, so I need to get creative in my fundraising.
This first fundraiser is called “Adopt a Square” and here’s how it works…
Below is a chart with the numbers 1-100. I ask that you consider choosing one or more of the squares in this chart and donating the amount that is shown on that square. For example, by choosing square 5, you would simply donate $5, square 10=$10, etc. Once you have chosen your square you can donate that amount by clicking the “donate” button at the top of the page. After you have donated that square will be filled so that no one else can adopt it. (To expedite that process, you can email me to let me know the square, or comment below, so I can mark it taken.)

If all of the squares are “adopted”, then I’ll have raised more than $5,000, which would exceed my initial fundraising goal by July 22 and put me 37% funded… which would be absolutely amazing! Any amount helps so much so feel free to choose just one or as many squares as you would like!
