The last few days have been strange, because as I sit in my living room I'm staring at nearly all my possesions. Well at least the ones that haven't been sold yet. I've had several buyer, yet there seems to be no dent. Which only further supports the fact that I should NEVER have accumulated this much stuff, no matter how old I already am.
The first day of sales brought in a whoping $1,038.78! Add to that the donations that came through and I'm only $1,632.96 away from meeting my first deadline. I'm so excited to see this all happening. I, and many others, had feelings of doubt this could happen in such a short time period. However, my faith is strong and it's become cyrstal clear with everything falling in to place, that the World Race September 2012 is where God plans for me to be.
Here are a few other fundrasing opportunities that I have set up. Mark your calendars so you can participate!

On June 29 I've been invited as an introductory speaker to a Teen Youth Group retreat being held in Vermillion. I will have t-shirts for sale and hopefully Threads of Hope bracelets.

Monday, July 9 from 5-8 there will be a Spirit Night held at the Montrose Chick-fil-a. Feel free to print the coupon below if you can make it!

Thursday,  July 12 there are plans for a Chick-fil-a night in Chapel Hill. This Spirit Night does not require a coupon. I need to bring in more sales than their average to make a 15% profit. So please spread the word!

Come to the Medina Farmer's Market on July 28! I'll have a table set up describing the World Race and I'll be selling my t-shirts and Threads of Hope bracelets.

If you live near Ashland, come to my bake sale at Fin, Feather and Fur on August 4.
If you live near Norwalk, come to Hunter's Glen condos and buy what's left of my belongings!

On August 8 stop in for lunch or dinner at the Ashland BW3's. Be sure to bring along the coupon below so they donate 15% of your bill to me.

My t-shirt funraiser will run until I've been able to sell 48 shirts (this number brings the cost down). So far I've taken orders for 11 shirts. The cost of the shirt is $18, and I can ship them to you if you don't live close.

All of these opportunites are sure to help me inch closer to being fully funded; however, I am still reliant on the personal donations from people like you! Please pray about how you can help support me in this mission. For those of you who know me personally I believe you can vouch for my dedication and passion for helping to make change take place. I've been a dedicated teacher for 10 years now, and I'm thrilled to take my accumulated skills to 11 countries for this school year. Please consider bringing this ministry to life!
