MISION. MUNDIAL. MISION. MUNDIAL
These words, along with many others, were chanted loudly the last night of training camp. The last night you see, is squad wars. Squad wars are apart of training camp and the last night we gave it our all. Be loud, wear your squad color, come with your dance moves and prepare to work as a team. Actually, that pretty much sums up the whole week. Except for the being loud part:) Save that for squad wars, singing praises to Jesus, and screaming at the monstrosity that is a hobbit-sized spider in your tent.

If there is one thing I wish I had brought with me to training camp, it would of been a rain jacket. That will be on my list to take with me next year. Thankfully, I bought a poncho from target which was a lifesaver because it rained most of the week. It not only covered me, but it covered my day pack as well. Thank you target.
I arrived to training camp a day late because of a dear friends wedding. I was a little nervous showing up a day late. Everyone had already met one another and bonded in some sort of way. On the other hand I was also very excited. Felt like I had a family waiting on me that I had never even met yet.
When I pulled up that Sunday, I got my day pack and backpack out of the car and started walking. I had no idea where my team was so I figured I would find the closest building and ask for help. I saw a sign that read, “Registration.” and so I followed I happened to walk in on a room full of people who were wearing green. My squad color is red so I immediately knew I was in the wrong place and quickly shut the door. I started to continue down the street when a car pulled up. A couple got out and they were coaches for one of the squads. Coaches are typically married couples who visit their squads on the field to encourage and impart wisdom.
“Are you okay?” You look like a lost puppy!” She read my face as if she was reading a book. I proceeded to tell her I had just arrived and was looking for my squad. I wish I could remember her name! She was so kind and walked with me until we found my squad{thank you mysterious coach lady}. As soon as I walked up, I was tightly hugged by no other than the lovely Rozy Mccormick. It’s so wonderful that 12stoner’s are M squads coaches! What are the odds of that?? 🙂
I quickly felt the love from all of my squad mates. I had forgotten what real community looks like. So thank you, M squad.

They formed our teams by breaking down our squad into smaller groups. I will be working with six other beautiful women of God. Pictured below, from front to back: Me, Sara, Meg, Claire, Misha, Mollie, and Ashley. Team Relentless! <3

I know there are amazing things in store and I am excited to grow with this group of women!
Thanks for reading friends. Love you all.
