Hello everyone and godd morning…yes it is morning here on Wed I think. It is really heard to keep track of these things. Yesterday after I arrived I reunited with my group and squad on the roof top of our guesthouse. There was an overwhelming smell of Saurkraut (I doubt that is what it was) in the air.

We had a lovely dinner last night; I had pineapple fried rice and a Passion Fruit Smoothie….very delicious. On the walk over we saw fish being gutted on the ground, roasted ducks hanging up for sale, and raw meat sitting out by the bushel basket….all very appetizing..not really !

The roads here are chaotic lots of motorcycles, Toyotas, and Lexus’. There are no lanes and I have seen 1 traffic light.

I have two wonderful roommates (makes me miss my roommate from home though too) and was able to get some great rest last night and feel ready for whatever the day brings.

Each team has been assigned a different ministry; one team will be leaving our current site and moving to a ministry elsewhwhere. The rest of us will be staying in this local area. We visit our ministry this afternoon and tomorrow is our briefing; as soon as I find out more about it I will share with everyone.
