As I write to you now I am in Seattle; the rest of my team is on the way to Korea !
This morning I boarded a plane in Billings Montana and someone noticed that two of the wheels were flat. We had to de-board. The tire change took a whopping 10 hours hence I missed the Cambodia flight.

Praise God for the kindness of strangers all day who bought me pizza, loaned me cell phones, and added some levity to the situation..where there was not much to be found ! I did not get to go with my group but had found my own group within the stranded passangers. One 13 year old was traveling buy himself, one lady was on the way to see her new twin grandchildren in Alaska and one guy was on the way to London via Iceland…and so many more. By the end of the day we were giving hugs as the planes boarded.

Praise God for a complimentary hotel room to rest my head tonight and praise God for an amazing World Race staff who is making a way for me to join with the team ASAP.

I will be flying solo and a different way I go through LA and Tapei Taiwan tomorrow then off to Cambodia.

Please be praying for my safe travel, my teams safe travel, and the safe travel of my new friends !

For my HT team I can’t wait to be with you
For my church family and friends I miss you so much already

Love you All, Carla reporting from The Seattle Red Roof Inn
