The journey begins today for a lot of my team mates, tomorrow for me, and now for you. This is your trip too because you are reading this blog you have prayed for me, supported me, or just plain loved me during the prep process. Hold on tight, pick a few things to pray on, and continue to join with me on this journey that will change the lives of the people we will serve ,the team, and our prayer warriors !
Our entire group is called a squad; all 33 of us are coming from different places / cities in the US
Our squad is the first ever sent out with The World Race focused on Human Trafficking
Our squad is made up of 29 women and 4 men; the men will minister to the Johns
Our squad will meet in Seattle on Sat morning to head to Cambodia
Our squad leaders name is Laura (she will oversee the whole group)
Our squad has two people in Atlanta that support us with all the details before, during, and after the trip they are Katie and Laura J.
Our squad will break up into separate ministry teams when we arrive; we all have different functions within the journey which are directed by our squad leader and ministry contacts
The team I am a part of has 6 girls including me; my leader is Heather, my team mates are : Ashley,Karina, Carolyn, Mindy and we have declared to arise and expose darkness with light
I have been praying that evil spirits and the presence of evil will be forced to flee forever as a display of God’s love for the places we will be serving. I have been praying that every person we encounter will know what it is to feel like they are worthy of having love and being loved and have the experience of being wrapped up in Christ’s arms. I have been praying that this team stays is perfect health before, during, and after the journey. I have been praying that the entire team will be fully funded by the deadline. I have been praying for you; yes you ! I have asked God to open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing overflow on every person who has partnered with me on this journey; I have began asking for specific things for each person.
So choose from the list if you want, touch and agree with what I have been praying for, or come up with your own list but please PRAY…this is your Journey too !
