I am so thankful that God is who he is and that he does not change.
I am thankful for his grace..especially as I read through the old testament. Something in the book of Leviticus struck me today after I had just been reading about all the sacrifices. “For the life of a creature is in it’s blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the alter; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life. (In other words he gave his life blood as a sacrifice to give us favor we don’t deserve)
I am thankful that the closer I get to this trip the more God expands my heart. Everyday now instead of baking cookies and flipping donuts I get to look into the hearts of children for a living and help them spend time with their family. (Gods Favor)
I am thankful God provided the funds I needed to have in my trip account by training camp. He provided the gas money to Billings and some spending money too. A donor in CA bought the plane ticket and friends were able to loan the equipment …God really puts things together.
Everyday God just fills me and amazes me with the power of his love !
