It seems so hard to believe that Training Camp is only a mere 9 days away. It seems like just yesterday when I felt God’s tug on my heart to go on this trip. In reality that was July and this is now October, my does the time fly.
I sit here as I write in my living room and look at my unpacked gear and am just thankful. I am thankful for the kindness of friends who loaned supplies, gave supplies, and helped shop for them. I actually got to build my loaned tent in my friends living room the other day and I have to say it was rather fun. I have not been in a tent in so long I can’t even remember the last time it was.
I am thankful that during this time of shopping, returning, and packing I feel the presence of God more than ever. It is almost as he is saying let me anoint all of the basic stuff so it is off your mind. He is rebuilding old relationships and starting new ones that are ever so valuable. Probably Gods way of filling me up so I have even more to give. Whatever the case I am grateful.
Next week is my first Solo drive to Montana for my flight
My first time in GA
A time to meet a campground full of like minded people
A time to get ready for the journey ahead
I almost feel like saying turn turn turn here…oh I just did!
I am a lot excited and little terrified all at the same time but I know full well that God’s grace is more than enough.
Please pray for traveling mercies and team unity. Thank you
