You have guessed correctly if you have determined that I am talking about camping equipment. I never new there was so much to know about camping equipment and now I need to get it purchased for the trip.
Do you get a mummy bag or regular
I need one super dooper tent with rainfly, vents, footprint that is freestanding. I am so sure they will not look at me like a martian when I ask for that at the store…right ?? Where is the Apostle Paul when you need him…I am sure he could have whipped me up a great tent !
For a girl who cannot stand to shop it all seems a bit overwhelming…but the camping for 5 months part is not something heavy on my mind like I thought it would be.
I am rather looking forward to traveling around in tents from land to land like the Apostles did and being used to preform greater miracles than they did along the way.
I know the million dollar question on every mind is has she even been camping before ….and the answer is twice that I can remember. Once was at a wilderness park with bathrooms just a stones throw away (does that really count) and the second time I camped it was on the backside of Catalina Island. All I remember is getting up in the middle of the night to head to the porta potty and I got ran into by a buffalo…it was quite funny. Both of these were when I was a teenager so a long time ago; I would say it is overdue !
I have friends who feel that it is ruffing it to stay at the Hyatt instead of The Hilton
But as for me a little Holy Spirit led wondering can’t be all bad after all even Jesus had no place to lay his head !
