During my time here at El Shaddai, I have grown very close to a child named Ayanda. She is eight years old and is currently in the 3rd grade. Her favorite school subject is English. She loves playing games and helping take care of the young children in the baby house at the children’s home. She is a shy child with a beautiful smile and a sweet spirit. El Shaddai has provided a loving and safe home for her to grow up in.
It is evident that Our Heavenly Father is passionately pursuing her, and El Shaddai Children’s home is serving as a safe haven for her and others who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected. Serving with this ministry, I have heard countless stories of God’s redemptive grace in the lives of these children who now have the opportunity to live, learn, and grow in a safe and loving environment.
Because of God’s faithfulness to this ministry through the support of sponsors and donors all over the world, El Shaddai has been able to provide these children with hot meals, baths, beds, and the closest thing to family that they have ever known.
The entire cost of living for one child at El Shaddai Children’s Home is $100 per month. This includes food, shelter, education, clothing, medical care, and caretakers. Because of the special relationship that I have formed with Ayanda, I am now advocating for her to have a longterm sponsor so that she can continue to receive what she needs to live a healthy and happy life. So, family and friends, please prayerfully consider the privilege of being the support that my friend, Ayanda needs.
