Sodomized. Hung by their feet from a tree as punishment. Scars on their faces from their father biting them.

A steady diet of alcohol and a life of going from bar to bar before the age of one years old. Also HIV positive.

Left in a locked room by their mother. Finally the oldest brother was able to squeeze his way out of a small window to get help from a neighbor.

Watched his sister get raped. Exposed to bestiality (sex with animals).

Raped by her step-brother. Exiled from her family because she decided to take him to court.

This stuff actually happens. And it pisses me off. These are the faces I kiss and the bodies I hug every day.

These are only SOME of the stories of the children here at El Shaddai. Every story is marked by neglect and abuse of some type.

Here's the good news: they are being loved NOW. They get to go to school NOW. They hear about Jesus NOW. They get food NOW. They get clothes NOW. Jesus reigns NOW.

More good news: YOU CAN HELP BE A PART OF IT. El Shaddai offers sponsorship for each kid. This money goes towards their school (supplies, uniform, fees etc), clothes, food, shelter, medical care, and physical care.

There are currently about 28 children who need sponsorship and 100% of it goes to El Shaddai. If not sponsored they more than likely will not be able to go to high school.

We need you. Now is time to stop reading sad stories and start becoming a part of the redemption.
