Something is missing..no scratch that..something WAS missing. The new found family I have been given falls in the hands of 6 amazing people that I cannot wait to get to know more, grow in my spirit with, and share life with for the next 11 months. I could not be more excited, blessed, nervous, and amazed that God placed such awesome people with me while I travel the world.
I came into training camp praying that I could find one person on my squad that I could bond with and share my heart with, and he sent me home with the anticipation of being with 6 people who rock.
Man oh man…when you pray for something, God sure does give it ten fold. I get the pleasure of spending 11 months with these people but I want you to meet them briefly and connect with them in a small way. So with that said….

We are lucky to have Justin as a team leader. He has such a passion for serving others and a passion for knowing God, that we have total faith in what he is going to accomplish for us as a team. The man God has made him into is a complete man of God, and a man with a heart for believing in others. To have a team leader who wants to hear our opinions as a whole, and who wants to help us grow in our walks with Christ is such a blessing. Justin…keep it up. Don't let the face fool you..this man has a soft side. His love for others and his love for serving is beyond your imagination! Jesse has the strength that many men of God strive to gain. He is completely goofy and down to earth which makes it so easy for all of our team members to gravitate towards what he is going to do for Christ this year. Sam…Sam I am..
Ahh yes..fearless Sam! Sam is the wise one of our group and as a team, we already find ourselves being quiet when he speaks. Everytime this man speaks, it is a direct voice from God. He allows himself to be used as a vessel for God, and because he does this..when he speaks his words cling tight to our hearts. Miss Leah has a heart for others beyond belief! Her soft spoken side takes its time to come out but man, when she let's us know what is on her mind..it rocks our socks off!! Her creativity and courage has already inspired our team and will continue to inspire us this next year. Miss Meagan
Yep, Meagan is pretty hardcore! She is so down to earth and this makes her easy to approach and it makes it so easy for people to see her heart for Christ. She's up for anything and always willing to be the first person to lend a hand. As a team, we have only spent a few days together, but those few days showed us how fervent her love for missions is and how on fire she is for Christ. Don't let the picture fool you.. This is the one time you will see Michelle standing still! She brings so much life and laughter to our team..its hard not to laugh and smile with this girl around. She is always jumping in to help and ..yep..she is constantly dancing or busting a move. Our team is not only going to learn every dance move this year..but we are going to enjoy getting to see a side of Michelle that has a passion for God.
