When Satan says you aren't worth it…. God says you are above and beyond what the world values and see as worth.
Galations 5:7-8 You were running a good race. Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth? That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you.
It always seems that Satan barges through right when it is most inconvenient…. when the Lord provides and makes a path for you, Satan puts up a detour sign or creates a distraction on the side to cause you to stumble.
I think the worst part about Satan is that he uses those who are closest to us to be the detours or distractions (in a bad way).
One of the worst things Ive been dealing with lately is how Satan keeps trying to tell me, that because of my past mistakes, I am not worthy enough to travel on a mission for God. Even though I know God has forgiven me for things I've done and things Im going to do…Satan has a good way of planting a seed of doubt in my mind.. doubt that I am capable of accomplishing such tasks set before me. It is so easy to forget that the Lord keeps no record of our sins.. He is not a God who tallies our sins and reminds us that we have fallen short… Satan certainly does though. If we rest in the peace that the Lord has taken care of all we have done wrong, why should we have doubt or feel unworthy?
God will use all my mistakes to reach out to others…to show them that to be a Christian is not to be perfect…and we definitely do not have to be perfect to come to Christ and ask for forgiveness. He will accept us just as we are and change our lives ..if we wait to come to Christ until we are pure..there will never be a moment right enough to do so. You cannot do it alone..we cannot do it alone.
