I first of all want to thank all of those who have committed to supporting me during my preparation and the actual trip itself. I also would like to thank those who are continuously praying for my team and I as we embark on this journey.
I have sat down and worked out what I am needing as far as commitment from people as I prepare for my trip. I have always hated talking about money and dealing with money, but it is a fact that I do need all the financial support I can get to be able to move forward in the planning of the world race. I know how difficult the economy is right now and every dollar is stretched to the max. I am praying that 20 people commit to donating $100 one time before the 1st of October. I have a goal of 3,500 that needs to be reached by my training camp which begins October 16. All gifts and donations are tax deductible.
I am also looking for 30 businesses in the tri-city area to commit to donating $100. I have prayed hard about this and really think this is a reasonable amount to ask for from those who can support me financially. I really do pray that you, your family, and friends pray hard and take supporting me and my team into consideration.
Again, I am beyond thankful for those of you who are working on supporting me or have already began to support me in every way.
