After an 18 hour bus ride from
Bangkok
, to
Phnom Penh
,
Cambodia
we finally arrived at the YWAM base at
1:00am
on Tuesday morning.

The culture contrast between the neighboring countries is greater than I expected.

In the capital city of
Cambodia
,
Phnom Penh
, the streets are crowded with a million little motorbikes.
This happens to be our new mode of transportation.
The local women here make it look so natural as they ride side saddle in a skirt and don’t hang on to the man.

Knowing my medical history from this year alone, I find it necessary to request a simple little prayer, that I don’t hop on one of those and tip right off.
We have not been obligated to take such transportation yet but the potential is high.

Now, with that said, some other things that I am adjusting to is the lack of; air-conditioning, available high speed internet, fresh fruit and endless things to do.

Cambodia
also uses a mix of U.S currency and Reel, the Cambodian currency.
The exchange rate between the two is 4,100 to $1.00.
My brain is in a constant frenzy.
Using U.S currency also brings me to the reality of how close home really is.

Today met our contact at our ministry location.
We will begin ministry on Saturday, leading bible study, small groups, and church services at Christian dorm called
