“A day without Laughter, is a day wasted”
 -John Piper

If you have not learned enough about me from my favorite quote, let me tell you more.

I grew up in one of the smallest towns on the map of

Washington. Wait… its not even on the map.
Selah is the name of the town and it is a fine one at that.
My family there consists of my wonderful parents and my charming little brother.
When I was 15 I committed my life to the Lord. For the rest of high school I spent my spring breaks in

Mexico building houses.

Mexico was the first place that I ever felt Jesus tug at my heart. With a feeling like that, it is impossible not to yearn for more.
When I graduated high school, God had amazing plans for me and sent me to one of the most beautiful places on the west coast,
Ecola
Bible
School in

Cannon Beach,
Oregon. It has been one of the most amazing steps in my life so far.
Seven months in solitude to study Gods words and be saturated in His beauty.
I was given an opportunity to stay and work for the summer so I took it.
That’s when I became a coffee addict and a pro surfer.
I’m sure you’ve heard of me, no? Haha just kidden. But seriously I love surfing, and hiking and biking and coffee.
Life and adventure on the beach, I love it! After the summer I transferred my barista job to

Portland and for the first time, I experienced the city life. This was another amazing chapter in my life. I had seven months of great fellowship, sweet churches and endless ministry opportunities.
The time came once again for God to move me.
This time to a familiar place, back home.
I arrived back in Selah this past April and started asking God what he could possibly have for me here, (besides my wonderful family and all the other perks of being home).
This place just seemed too small for my big dreams.
At the end of May, I stumbled across the world race.
In June I applied and here I am in July with an answer to my prayers and the pathway to execution of my dreams.
