Oh my where do I even start?? Let me give you guys at home an idea of the thing I wake up every morning thanking God for… Seriously some days I think to myself what could the guys at home possibly be complaining bout today.. Count your blessing folks.. it could be worse!!!!

Seriously strange blessings!!

How about the town that never sleeps.. I mean NEVER! Seriously the rosters start crowing at 11 at night and go until they have finally woken you up at 6a.m. Its seems like they stop when you finally wake up. Thankful for earplugs!

Then there are the donkeys that are in heat at the front door to the church you are staying at that make the strangest noise you ever heard. Still extremely thankful for earplugs!! 🙂

Oh lets not forget about the cold showers that are seriously the best thing ever after a hard day of manual labor, not so much in the morning 🙂 No but for real not cool when they take your breath away… Still thankful its not a bucket shower!!!!

Yeah…. and the things that were STOLEN from us like my Ipod, Bobbi Jo’s camera lens and credit cards along with the other things in her purse, and Jeff’s tennis shoes(no clue why they would want them, for real Jeff’s feet are do not smell like roses ;)) But it gave us a chance to forgive people we had never met and pray for there salvation. My heart seriously broke for these people.Thankful that God showed me that these people need prayer, we may be the first people to ever pray for them

The layer of dirt that seems to always be on us even after a shower due to the amount of bug spay we have to wear to avoid the dengue. Thankful we are’t in the hospital!

The rice and beans…. I wont even go into detail I think you get it. Thankful we get breakfast, lunch, and dinner delivered to us and that we don’t have to cook!!!

The long walks it takes us to get anywhere. Thankful we have things to do, and internet 10 mins away to communicate with family

The fact that I haven’t looked at myself in a month other than a compact mirror on Sundays to put on mascara and random car windows… Makes me wonder how I lived before, cause I honestly don’t care to leave the church having no clue what I look like. That would never happen at home.. Thankful that i no longer care how I look to the people around me that I can just be myself.

These are just a few things that make me smile and say to myself “Welcome to the World Race!”

Thank you guys so much for the support!!!
