The past five weeks I spent on the road, working as company manager for a children’s theatre tour around the south. We woke up each morning around 6AM, drove to the school we would be performing at, loaded in our set, lights, sound, etc, performed three shows for about 500 elementary-aged children each, loaded our set back into the truck, and drove to our next location. It was definitely exhausting doing all that work, being in a different hotel every night, and learning to work together with a group of 6 people who all have different interests, beliefs, and personalities.

Hey, sounds similar to what I’ll be doing over the next year, right? Amazing the ways the Lord uses mundane, average circumstances to prepare us for what is to come! If The World Race is anything like children’s theatre (let’s pray it is much better than what I just experienced!), then I definitely have a lot to learn in terms of communication, relating, being self-less, and depending on the Lord!

As far as other World Race preparations are concerned, I still have a lot of work to do! I sent out the majority of my letters while I was on the road, but I have much following up to do and I am in need of MUCH more financial support! This week I am in New York moving the remainder of my belongings out of my apartment and visiting with friends, and a few days after arriving back in NC, I will leave for 10 days for World Race training! My life is always on the go, but I suppose that’s nothing new.

I hope you are all doing well! Please let me know what is going on in your lives and how I can be praying for you!
