I choose to abide at the table the Lord sets before me (in the presence of my enemies) I choose to receive the sustanance He faithfully provides there.
I choose to be His daughter in choosing to remain at my place at the Kings table. And as I do…I say thank you father, for giving me the strength and the courage to choose to abide.
The longer I remain seated at this table the richness of the food only increases. I continue to take part. But it’s all too much for me alone. And so I became a re-source , an extension of the eternal source of life, for those who are far off.
I am able to freely give as I have freely received.
All I do becomes overflow from this place.
And I’m charged with the command, I’m given the honor really, of bringing others in; inviting more to the table.

I’m humbled by the pursuit the Lord has of me, in adopting me into His family; and getting me to the table. He does all the work. So I’ll take my seat, remain, and do my part to receive it all by faith.
I won’t make hard what He’s so graciously made easy for me. I won’t complicate what is simple.
I won’t worry. I will trust
I will dance and praise.
I won’t fear but laugh.
I won’t watch the river from the banks but jump into its depth
I’ll find refreshment and freedom there.

As I prepare to jump into another chapter of advancing the kingdom and building the church through discipleship I reflect on the Lord’s radical speed in my story. I wonder how it is I am able to keep this pace, but that’s just is. It isn’t me who is able, but HE.
He it is who provides, protects, and goes behind & before me.
He it is who gives me the strength to say yes, time & time again.
He it is who gives me the courage to stay seated at my place, the courage to abide.
Because it’s a scary thing to follow the Lord. It really is. And I couldn’t do it without Him. Funny thing isn’t it?
It’s not till we recognize this, that we can truly come to our knees in right surrender to Him. That we are humbled, filled with peace and able to live a life worthy of the call.
