I was raised in a Christian home with loving supportive parents and
3 pretty awesome sisters.  Life
revolved around ch
urch, family, school, sports, and friends. Growing up in m
y
family was always exciting, fun, and intense. There was alway
s lots of love,
lots of competition, and plenty of sisterly fights!

I grew up and currently live in Eugene, Oregon, a place I happen
to be very fond of, despite all the rain
. It is home to the University of
Oregon Ducks, some cool hippies, Nike, countless bike riders & lots of
green trees!  My brief absence from
the great northwest lasted only during my college years, when I spent 4 years
in the southwestern desert playing softball and going to school.
My oldest sister  & i in Eugene.
Since college, Christ has made me realize that it’s not all about
me (ha & it never really was). Thankfully this led to some wonderful
changes in my life including my attitude, goals, dreams, and desires.
This fall, I am student teaching 5th
grade to finish up my masters program in early childhood development and
elementary education and am looking forward to graduating in December.

Last random
things:
-I love time spent with good
company in deep and real conversation.
-Our family dog Cinnamon is one of my best buds. She’s
such a loyal companion.
-I am just now learning to fully accept that God
truly loves me and is glad to call me His daughter.
I desperately want to know God more. He’s all that
matters! Why is that so easy to forget?
