“He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.'” -Mark 16:15 (NIV)

This is direction from Jesus Christ. He said this after He died and rose. The good news is more than just a story. The good news is the reason. It is the fact that Jesus is more than just a man! He is God himself, and He wants to be with us. Can you imagine that? The same God that created the universe wants to be with you. We are humans and we sin. There is no amount of good we can do that can take away the bad. Sin separated us from God. It kept us from knowing our creator, and it formed a canyon between us. The good news is that Jesus is the bridge. Jesus took the sin that we committed, and bore it on his own back. He took the weight of the world, and he died. The good news is that the grave was no match for Him. Jesus rose from the dead. Jesus is the reason we can be with our creator, and now it is up to us to tell the tale of His glory.

In about 10 months I will be embarking on a journey that God has been preparing me for for a long time. I will be going to the Balkans, the Philippines, and South Africa, all over the span of 9 months. I am given the opportunity to see Gods glory throughout the world, and to spread the good news. I remember about 3 or 4 years ago I was watching a beatbox battle on YouTube, and I saw a video called “my world race” in the suggested area. I thought to myself, “I have no idea what this is, but I feel like I’m going to click on it and get obsessed.” Sure enough, that’s what happened.

Since then I have had a desire to go out and serve, because that’s what Jesus did. I want so desperately to be like Jesus, and I cant imagine living without Him. There are people who have no idea what they are missing out on, and it breaks my heart. That is why I am going on The World Race Gap Year. To serve, and to show people the love that God has for his children.

If you want to help support this mission either financially or through prayer that would be amazing and greatly appreciated! you would become not just a donor, but my partner on this adventure.

Thank you! There is more to come,

Caleb Jones
