Hey everyone

First I would like to say THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT.  I am fully supported, and an rejoicing that God has provided in such an awesome way!

Secondly, thank you for your prayers and your comments on my blog.  I read everything even though I don’t always respond. =)

And now I would like to show you a video.

One of my best friends on the race is John Smith.  John hasn’t had the easiest time raising money, even though he is trying really hard.
We just found out that if he can’t raise 4,000 dollars by the end of this month, than he has to go home.

So John and I planned a video to help get awareness about his need to the rest of the body of believers out there to see how God can work when we pool our resources.

Trevor is our technical genious, and made a great video.
I work at a different site than most of the guys, so 4 of us weren’t able to say anything, so I am going to tell you why John is so important to me.

John and I were paired up in Australia back in February.  We were laughing a lot, working a lot, and yet unsatisfied. Through prayer, we knew that God wanted more out of us individually, and each other. We decided God wanted us to do street evangelism…something I am NOT used to or comfortable with.
me and jon.,..we are in this together =)
But John pushed me towards excellence. He knew what God was calling me to, and everyday he found me and told me “it was time to go tell people about the gift of life through Jesus!”
Well with that sort of accountability it is hard to not do what God wants from you.

We went through some hard times over the next two weeks. We got laughed at, joked at and rejected by A LOT OF PEOPLE on the streets. But more importantly we made about 20 SOLID relationships with people who were interested about God.
I don’t know what God will do in their lives, but I do know that they know more about God now than before because John pushed me to actually GO OUT WHEN I WAS CALLED.

I am a huge fan of John. He is funny, serious, wise, yet slow to speak. He has a way with kids and strangers to make them comfortable. He LOVES GOD and he LOVES OTHERS.

Please help him raise the money to stay on the race.

I actually owe a lot of my trip to John.  I was paired up with John when we were working in Australia.  Although we were digging ditches and doing a lot of work, John and I felt called to evangelism even though it didn’t seem like the easiest thing to do.

So one night we challenged each other
