I don’t even have an eloquent way of starting this post. I guess I can preface it by saying my freak out is a happy one, not a “holy cow, what am I doing with my life?!” freak out. Thank goodness.
My first financial deadline is June 27, and I need to have raised $3,500. Well. Just take a look at the top of your screen. See that horizontal green bar? That’s my fundraising account status… and it currently says $3.795.
$3,795. $295 over my first goal. What?!
Guys, because of your generosity, I have already met my first financial deadline!!!
The Lord has moved so many people around me. I’ve had family members hand me checks for way more than I expected, I’ve had in-laws ask for more information so they could donate, parents of friends being led to give, people living across the country that I haven’t seen in years donated, a friend mail me cash from an unexpected win on penny slots during her first trip to a casino, a newly married couple commit to supporting me monthly, and then check this out-
my sisters in Alpha Sigma Alpha all agreed to support me, sending this beautiful card with a check.
I’m in awe.
