specifically, come to know who they are in Christ, who He created them to be,
and to walk daily living out of the freedom and abundant life He gives

Those are the words I wrote just 25 days after coming back
to America from my 11 months on the World Race. Words that put the beat of my heart on a page. Words that were and still are the
embodiment of my passion.
Reflecting on those very words now, 10 months later, gives me
uncontainable joy and peace as I step foreword into the next season that God is
calling me to.
Many of you have followed me from the beginning. You have seen my pictures heard my
stories, but more than anything I hope you have seen the CHANGE IN ME. The God wrecked me in the most
beautiful of ways through my time on the race. It shook me to my core. So lovingly restored, redeemed, and
healed me. Out of brokenness He
brought me to LIFE. A life of
freedom and abundance that can only come from Him. A life rooted deep in who God is and who He created me to
be. Because of the race I am awakened
to the Sprit of God and the POWER of the Gospel. I have been given so much but now He is calling me to
more. Something different. Something that will stretch me yet
again. Something that not only
embodies my passion and calling, but allows me to yet again bring His Kingdom
to the nations. This something is
leading a world race squad in January 2012.
Squad leaders are alumni who get the privilege of
discipling, encouraging, supporting, teaching, praying for, speaking truth and
calling greatness out of a group of racers while they are on the field. That’s right, that means God is yet
again calling me out of the country.
I will be leading a squad of about 50 people, alongside the most amazing
co leaders (who I will introduce to you shortly!!) We will travel to the teams ministry assignments and serve
alongside of them. My primary
ministry focus will be the racers themselves, but I will be doing in country
ministry with my squad everywhere I go! I will be with them for 4 months on the field, then after raising up and
training leaders to take our place, the alumni will go home as the squad walks
into new roles of leadership themselves.
The beauty is that is NOT where it ends. We stay in touch, continue to pray, encourage and support
from a distance. Then we get sent
back to teach, debrief, encourage, and refresh our squad in month 8 and just
before they return to the states in month 11. I cannot even begin to tell you how EXCITED I am.

Debrief visit #1: Eastern Europe
Final Debrief: The Dominican Republic
Would you join me in prayer for this next season God has
called me to? Pray for wisdom as a leader, that I rely heavily on the Lord and
His guidance of this squad. Pray
for safety from any physical or spiritual attack. Pray that finances to be sent out would come in. Pray for our squad as they prepare for
the hardest but most life changing year.

Pray that the Lord would be preparing hearts all over the world to
receive the gospel, that our squad would be bold and courageous in their
faith. Your prayers are important
