The first week of ministry in Cambodia fell during the Khmer New Year. The Khmer know how to celebrate. Everyone takes the whole week off and travels back to visit family. Because of this, class was cancelled for the week. Our host asked us to paint a mural showing whatever Bible story we wanted. We decided to paint the Nativity scene. We thought it would be fun to do a time-lapse of our progress! We hope you enjoy!
We also painted six flags and a mural with the ABCs to help the pre-schoolers learn their letters!
I was a little too proud of my volcano.
We had a great time painting, and all the students loved the new addition to the classroom.
