Me: ( loudly proclaiming) I’m either on the verge of greatness or it’s the coffee
Tom: can you explain?
Me:( pumping fists in the air apparently with not so empty coffee cup in hand) it’s all about perseverance
Tom: Now looking down to a puddle of coffee on his paper… “No No pretty sure it’s the Coffee”
Me: I don’t care what it is but I’m getting another cup. ( Addict Alert)

Here’s an Excerpt that spoke to me this morning from Wide Awake by Erwin Mcmanus
if you have lived your life running away, this is not who you are any longer. Where once we ran from problems, failures, hardship, danger, and challenges, we are now among those who thrive in the midst of them. You need to know who you are and to which tribe you belong. Others may run in fear, but you are not of those who shrink back. You recognize that the greatness within you can only emerge if you are willing to face the greatest challenges. Maybe you didn’t know this about yourself. Maybe your life history doesn’t reflect this. Maybe all your experience tells you that you are inherently a coward, failure, and a quitter. But God says, ” No you’ve misunderstood yourself. You’ve misjudged yourself. You’ve underestimated yourself” If you are in a relationship with the God who created you, no matter what you’ve been or what you’ve done or how many times you’ve messed up or failed or quit, you are no longer that person, no longer a part of the tribe that shrinks back.

That my brothers and sisters is truth.
Soak in this truth.
No matter where you’ve been. No matter what you’ve done.
No matter what. We don’t have to give up.
You are New creations in Christ.
He has given you a dream, a vision, a call.. Don’t give up no matter what!
No matter what trial you have faced, are facing, will face. Don’t quit!!
Keep fighting because You are no longer that person. And He is fighting for you
Don’t believe the lies.
Preach the Gospel to yourself.
Cancel lies with truth
And when YOU can’t. When You want to quit. Remember we are in this together
Father, Son and Holy spirit. Three in One. We were made for Community.
Let others love you. Let Jesus love you. Hold on.
Don’t quit before the miracle happens.
