Hello, its me, the one and only Caitlin Erbeck.
You may want to know a little bit about me; I live in the middle of nowhere in Illinois on a hobby farm where I live with my family. I have 6 siblings, 4 sisters and 2 brothers. I am the second oldest and the two boys are the babies of the family.
I enjoy all kinds of sports. Soccer is my favorite though. I ride and own my own horses. I play a bit of guitar and very little piano. I enjoy singing as well.
I help out at a youth center on Wednesday nights. Where I am a leader and have a small group of girls and discuss the message that was given that night. I help out every summer with a day camp to share the gospel with kids who come from near and far.
For the past year or so, I have felt a call to live my life for the Lord. To serve Him while I’m still young and have the ability to. Back in June 2014, a good friend of mine was on a 6 month mission trip to Thailand. While he was there, he ended up dying. He was 21, my age. Ever since then, God has been saying to me, “You only have one life, live for Me.” So that’s how I started this adventure. I looked for ways to serve Him and this mission trip is the one that stuck out to me.
I cannot tell you how excited I am to be able to serve the Lord in this way! It truly is a blessing and He is soo soooo good!
