HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
It is such an amazing day today! The reason is BECAUSE IT’S THANKSGIVING! So here are some things that I am thankful for El Salvadorian style…
–>A chance to do dramas in many different communities with my team and then share the Gospel
–>Serving God by preaching the word of God for 35 minutes in one of the largest churches in El Salvador. It was so much fun because God granted me with peace the entire time.
–>An intense time of prayerfully considering where God is going to lead our team next month. I’m so excited!
–>A blessing from a friend named Alberto for housing my team and I for three nights unexpectedly where food was prepared and more ministry was enacted in necessary places (including busy streets and poor neighborhoods)
–>Oscar (our ministry contact who has so much joy and love for life): He has really been a huge influence on our team in teaching us that ministry can be joyful and full of fun!
–>Carlos (our translator who has a passion for God): He loves God and trusts in God’s plan for his life which is infectious!
–>A Thanksgiving dinner awaiting our team at Alberto’s house with Chicken (ok ok I might be a little bummed it’s not turkey but at least they’re in the same family, right?), and all sorts of side dishes.
–>A bed…nuff said
–>Papusas: An amazing treat made with tortilla wrapped cheese, beans, and pork for the low price of 40 cents!
–>My Family and friends who love me and pray for me often! I love you guys!!!
–>My home church: Westgate Community Bible Church which is a solid representation of what a church should really look like.
–>God saving my life!
And…
–>And My team “Hineani” (Hebrew for – Here I am; Here I stand; I am ready) consisting of Addie Weaver, Annalisa Vasiliauskas, Ashley Peterson, Dawn Gorczynski, Emily Toles, and Michael Leutwyler of who some are are still in need of support.
