The only thing certain about the race is change. This month has been no exception to that rule. At debrief last month, our leaders announced that teams will be changing. I knew this was a possibility but I was sure my team would remain the same. I mean we had just the right amount of “areas of growth” without any threats to kill each other. But, when they began reading the names of the new team to the team leaders, I started hearing the men on my team placed with another team leader. Wait what? Did they really just say all the men were on the same team? Verification of what I just heard came when I looked at Zach, the team leader of this MAN team, as he jumped into the swimming pool with all his clothes screaming from excitement. I was happy for the guys. What an experience for them. However, with the three men leaving from my team that meant two things….team changes for me and all girls team! Breathe Brooklynn….breathe. I was up next to receive my teammates’ names. After they read the names the first word out of my mouth was POWERHOUSE! I am so thrilled to be serving this group of women. They are some of my favorite people to be around and they LOVE Jesus like no other. I am pleased to announce the ladies of “So Entonces.”

This one makes me smile. She has the sweetest spirit and one of the truest servant’s hearts I’ve ever seen. She’s is dedicated and disciplined. She loves people and shows the love of Christ in such tangible ways. I am thrilled to get to serve with her again on this new team and I’m excited to see where God takes her in this next season. Also, she has great taste in music and books!

I can’t seem to shake this girl. She’s been with me since day one of this adventure and I couldn’t be more blessed to have her as a sister. She is passion at its finest. She loves life and draws people in so effortlessly. I love to watch her love on others. I know God is going to use her in mighty ways and I’m glad I get be on the sidelines cheering her on.

I am so thankful to get to live and serve with this amazing woman of God again. She carries such wisdom and grace. She is careful with her words, but when she speaks up it’s usually something straight from the mouth of the Lord. She has the best laugh and I love singing 90’s Christian songs with her.

I have wanted to be with Liz since we bonded in the Dominican, mostly because she laughs at all my jokes.(jk) She is so passionate about Jesus and she makes me want to worship like she does. She brings a lot of laughs to our new team and I am looking forward to seeing her in action.

Karen is one of the most loving people I’ve ever met. She is attentive to things that most people would just let pass by. She gives people her full attention and I am learning so much from her. She has a heart for encouraging others and does it so well. I am truly blessed by this woman.

REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD!!! I couldn’t have been more excited when I read that I would get to spend the last leg of this race with Elaine, my sister. She makes my heart so happy. She is challenging, encouraging, loving, and hilarious. She is a worshipper and loves God with a fierceness. I have already learned so much from her and I know the Lord is doing big things in her life. I am beyond blessed to have her apart of my team.
