I’m about to tell you about one cool chick. Her name is Alexis and she is a squad mate of mine that deserves to continue on the race. Let me tell you about Alexis and her heart for the kingdom. She is someone that fights to seek revival for the kingdom. She has a heart that is willing to share Jesus with anyone she meets despite the cost and it’s such a beautiful thing to be apart of. She reflects true leadership because she consistently encourages everyone around her in everything they do.
I’ve truly been blessed by her friendship and example of what it looks like to pursue Jesus everyday. She encourages me to challenge and stretch myself. God doesn’t call us to be comfortable but He calls us to be willing. She is someone that speaks that over my life and has me put it into practice. She really has no idea how much she has influenced my life. Her walk of life is humbling to see. She pursues Jesus and people so radically. The other day we were at lunch and she felt the Holy Spirit tell her she needed to talk to this man we passed on the street. He had a lot to say about his life and all he wanted was to be seen and Alexis did just that. She paid attention to his story and made him feel known and seen. I sat back enjoying every moment watching her step into her gift of compassion for others. As we walked away she said to me, “Why am I always put in uncomfortable positions?” I told her it’s because God knows she has a heart that is willing to say yes to Him and seek out all of His children despite the pain they are in at the moment.
She has this obedience to the Lord that has inspired me to want to say yes to Him even when it’s hard or I don’t fully understand why. She’s taught me that saying yes in all circumstances is good and fruitful. She’s taught me that God has a plan for every situation and that He sees people for who He made them to be. It seriously would be detrimental if she didn’t continue the race because she didn’t raise all her money. She brings so much life to the squad and she furthers the kingdom each and everyday. Please donate towards her race because she is someone that fights for people to know their worth in Jesus. She fights for no more pain in this world. You want someone like her to spread Jesus.
