This is our third Eastern European country, Albania.
Week one
The first week we got here we met our new hosts Heather and Kenny. They are first time world race hosts and they are crushing it! (World race lingo for “you’re doing great”)
Heather and Kenny are American and have lived in Albania for 5 years and plant churches in different villages. They have two beautiful daughters.
We started off the month with church and women meetings. Organizing clothes to give to the families around the villages.
Week two
English camp! We all have become experts in teaching English the past 10 months. The students were amazing and we had a blast investing in them. As we taught English we also did bible devotions with the students.
And this last week has entailed playing soccer with the locals, and having coffee time with the women in the villages to help build up their communities.
Turkish coffee isn’t too shabby.
Did I mention team agape took on baby sitting as well? Yep. Lots of pretend tea parties, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and animal videos via youtube for entertainment.
By then end of this journey I will have a pretty awesome resume because WE LITERALLY HAVE DONE EVERYTHING IN EVERY SINGLE AREA OF LIFE! Look out world , need someone in construction? I built a ziplock line tower month 9. Need an English teacher? Been doing that for 10 months straight in 10 different cultures.
Month 10 is officially to a close as we pack our bags and clean up the 10 place we’ve lived this year.
Spain is underway in 2-3 days which means M Squad has made it to the FINAL MONTH OF THE RACE MONTH 11! Yeah.. I’m freaking out a little so stay tuned for blogs as I’ll probably external process with you guys what just took place the last year of my life.
