Every racer awaits with baited breath, on the edge of their seats, dying from the curiosity for the announcement.
After the phone call saying you’re going on the World Race.
After the hours, days, weeks of fundraising.
After Training camp has come and gone.
After teams are announced.
Only one thing remains to be announced. The question on everybody’s mind and lips (even the random strangers you meet in the store) is, “When do you leave?”
For months the only answer to be given was “September.” Now all that comes to an end tonight. Tonight I am happy…no, I am beyond excited to let you know what I now know!

I will be headed back to Atlanta on September 6th and a few days later we fly out!
I am super excited to begin the next chapter of this journey!
