You know how sometimes, papa gives us incredible dreams for our future. We get excited, anticipate, and then we wait for what sometimesfeels like forever for those dreams to pass.
Then, there are times when He gives us dreams and desires, and within hours everything is coming together so fast, your head is spinning! This story is one of the latter.
August 26th, 2015. I was snuggled up comfortably, with a freshly poured cup of coffee by my side, made up just the way I like it. I was intensely focused on the book in my hands. “Birthing the Miraculous” by Heidi Baker. (read it.) When suddenly I had this indescribable urge and desire to go and be a part of a big movement that is taking place in Washington DC, that launches on September 11th, 2015.
The event is called David’s Tent.
Davids tent is a ministry that has dedicated to bringing 24/7 worship for the next 431(ish) days, in our nations capitol. Their heart is to see heaven invade our nation, through worship to the Lord.
Suddenly, I was pacing around my house, trying to find a way to get myself to DC to be apart of this thing. I threw the idea out to some of my musical friends, and within three hours- THREE HOURS- all of them told me that they in and committed to doing this thing with me!
We get to partner with them and lead two hours sets of worship right at the Washington Monument!!!
The heart behind this is simply to praise and worship the Father, with all the glory and honor that is due to him.
I believe that the Lord is going to do big things here, and I have such a strong desire to be a part of it, and to sing out the unique song that papa has placed with me!!! We are SO excited about this possibility, but we need your help to make it happen!
