I have made it back to America!!

This year has been such an amazing journey.  I want to first of all thank you for all you support financially and prayerfully.  I could have never done this with out my supporters.

God has done some great things this year with me.  He has shown me what it means to receive love and give love, how to truly receive his grace and be able to give grace to others, how to live in community and call people out in love and how to be called out and know that it is from a place of love because that’s how we grow.  I have walked alongside some of the most incredible I have ever met and we have been able to step out and be the hands and feet of the body of Christ.  I have been happy, sad, frustrated, excited, felt loved, fearful, angry and every other emotion under the sun.  Through that God has brought to a place of trust in Him.  So again I want to say thank you for making it possible.

I had no idea at the beginning of the race and throughout most of the race where God was going to call me next.  I thought on this race He would lay a country on my heart where I would go and be a full time missionary.  I thought that I would be called somewhere to settle down.  However, as usual, God has other plans for my life.  There is a school called G42 Leadership Academy in Spain, I have known about it for about a year and have been praying about it since I heard about it.  It is a place where I can go and learn more about who God is, gain knowledge on the bible and the Holy Spirit.  Also a place I can go and live in a community  who is seeking after God and His word.  It also focuses on entrepeneurship.  Long term I would really like to open a ministry in the States that leads mission trips for college age students.  I would love to take them to countries around the world and show them how other people live.  That we are so blessed to live in the country we live in and to be able to disciple them.  For me that age was hard and I wondered from the truth of Gods love, thankfully He is faithful and brought me back to Himself but that would have never happened if it weren’t for some amazing people in my life who showed me Jesus through their actions.   It is a six month school where the classes are held over dinner and you can have discussions in great length about your beliefs and really dig into the Word.  And this is where God is calling me next.  I applied at the end of September and was accepted for the April term.

If you would like to support me please go to http://www.g42leadershipacademy.org/donate and click on intern donation, Thank You!!

I have officially been back in the states for one day.  This first day back I was able to go see the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, who were amazing.  Also a man gave a short message on being strong and courageous.  That phrase is used four times in the first chapter of Joshua.  He said that we usually just throw those words together but that they mean different things.  We receive our strength from the Lord, through Him and His word we realize that we can do anything and that is strength.  Courage is about taking the step you know you are called to take, the destiny God is calling you into and to and walk into it.  Sometimes I don’t feel like I have the strength or knowledge to do the things God is calling me to and that’s ok because then I know that is what I am supposed to do, then I can give Him all the glory.  Because on my own I can do nothing.

I didn’t want to come home from this trip and fundraise again and worry about where to live but God said this is it, you have to continue to trust me.  I provided for you before and I will provide for you again.  Another lesson in trust.

So if you feel led to continue supporting me in prayer or financially please check out this website.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions or prayer requests you may have as well.  I would love to pray with you and for you.

Also if you know anyone who needs a condo in the Birmingham area send them my way J

Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.  Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
