Sorry I have not posted a blog about Macedonia yet. I have been trying to wait because I am not sure how much I should write about. I talked to my contact and he said it was okay to write some.
So, we are here in Macedonia doing ministry in a primarily Muslim area. We have been visiting the university here and just making friends. We do have to be careful of what we say and how we share with them. I actually love it because it requires that you build a relationship first and get to the person. There isn’t the pressure of hurry and share the Gospel but more of a opportunity to show love. And isn’t that what God is all about,love? Building a relationship?
Also, God has been opening doors left and right here. We have met some amazing people and have even been invited into their homes. While a lot of people think that it must be hard and maybe even scary to do ministry here, I have loved it. Most everyone we have met are the nicest most hospitable people. And while we may not share the same beliefs they have still shown us much love.
Please be in prayer for the time that we have spent here and for the people God ordained us to meet. Pray that they will have revelation of who Jesus is and what He has done for each one of them. Also for the community and the corruption here. And for the short time we have left, that God will do crazy things.
