I know it’s been a while since my last blog so let me catch you up a little bit. Starting in Uganda at the beginning of August we had some team changes, so sadly team Malachi has lost Jake, however he is on a new team that I think he is going to love. We have new additions to the team, Jordan Drake and Bek Conley. We are super excited to have them both. It has been a month of newness. We have two new members and a new ministry.
This month we have been doing ministry that is pretty new to all of us. We have been moving to new villages every couple of days and doing crusades and home visits in each one. The areas we have been in and the people we have met deal a lot in witch craft. A lot of the people seem to believe in God and His Son Jesus but don’t understand what it truly means to follow them. They take bits and pieces of the Gospel and add their own beliefs and traditions.
While it’s been a hard month I know God brought us here to be examples and represenatives of Jesus so that’s what we are trying to be.
This week, three of our team members got sick including myself so we are spending the last week back in Masindi while the rest of the team finishes the week of ministry. Please be in prayer for the team, that they are able to go out and spread the Gospel through the villages they are visiting. Pray for them energy and wisdom. Also pray for us, that we recover and are ready to go back to sharing Gods word soon.
Thank you for all the prayers and much love!!
Also, when I can get to good internet I am going to be posting some picture blogs so you can all see what we have been up to.
