The World Race #11n11 has officially begun, so for my first blog I thought I would do a random ’11 things about me’…So here goes…
11 Things About Me
1. I love the smell of freshly cut grass
2. I love chocolate
3. I have two nieces, who I absolutely love and adore
4. I have two tattoos, both of which have a special meaning…ask me about them.
5. I am a qualified teacher
6. I love Jesus! And He loves me!
7. Salt and vinegar chips are my favourite.
8. I enjoy cooking for people and watching them enjoy what I have prepared
9. My sister is my best friend.
10. I have a heart for people and for God and for sharing His love with people I meet.
11. I hope to go bungee jumping sometime over the next 11 months.
11 Things I am excited about for the World Race
1. Relying on Jesus to lead me in challenging and new experiences.
2. Sharing the love of Jesus in 11 countries.
3. Developing friendships that will last a lifetime
4. Experiencing new countries, cultures and food
5. Giving up my phone
6. The challenge of being treasurer and learning to be a good steward of the finances we have been blessed with.
7. Seeing lemurs in Madagascar
8. Returning to Thailand and doing Kingdom work there.
9. Developing a boldness for sharing the gospel.
10. Swimming in the ocean on three different continents
11. Making friends around the world.
