So although I have only been in Malaysia for a week and couple days a lot has happened between Vietnam and now, so I figured I should update people on the last few weeks have been.
Left Vietnam… it was very hard to say goodbye to the kids at the orphanage and or contact and their family
Went on a 22 hour sleeper bus to Ho Chi Minh.
Stayed in Ho Chi Minh for 2 days
Left for Malaysia stayed in Kuala Lumpur for one night
Left Kuala Lumpur went to Pangkor Island for debrief.
Stayed on Pankgor Island for 4 days. Went swimming in the ocean, rode on motor bike ate good food and had fun on the beach
Left Pankgor with a group of 10 racers, for parents week.
Stayed in Kuala Lumpur one night
Flew to Chiang Mai Thailand .
Arrived in Chiang Mai, met our parents there, and did ministry for a week with our parents. (Crazy packed schedule, but it was so fun)
While in Thailand I: did bar ministry, went on a zip-line, climbed a waterfall, had amazing times of worship, and went shopping.
Said goodbye to our parent/parents. It was sad, but good since we will be seeing them in only 2 short months.
Left for Malaysia once again. Made our on night stop in KL (once again) and then made my way to Chang Luang with two others on my team and met the rest of our team here.
So since I got to Chang Luang,Malaysia we have been teaching English 5 days a week.It has been interesting. We don't have much ministry, so we really have a lot of quiet time which has been great to spend more time with the Lord.
In just a week we will not only be changing countries but continents. Our squad is moving on to Europe and going to Moldova. Our squad has been in Asia the last 6 months so it will be interesting change of scenery, but I believe we are all ready for change. So excited for what's next!
