Hello All!
I am getting so excited as the launch day gets closer and closer. 12 DAYS. It’s coming so quickly. I started packing already and I feel like I’m going to forget so much stuff at the last minute. I’ve made lists and as they shrink, my anticipation grows.
I need to say a special thank you to a few folks.
Rabbi Neal and the folks at Kehilat Sar Shalom. All I can say is WOW. What a responsive heart the body of Christ has there. The people were amazing. Readers of this blog, I am telling you, if you are in Northern Virginia and looking for a place of worship, (or even if you are not) check them out. (Their links is in my sidebar) From the blowing of this huge ram’s horn as an invitation to worship to the touching of a very old Torah which he read from, I was engaged, mentally and physically. Thank you for allowing me to share my heart and ministry. Your loving response is truly overwhelming.
Teens at Grace Life Community Church, you guys are awesome! I hope you enjoyed the activity and thanks for giving me a few minutes out of your night to let me share my heart with you. Let me say this, blog readers, I hope you get the chance to have 60 young people lay their hands on you and lift you up in prayer. It is an experience that is easily found in my Most Moving Moments list. I am so stoked to have them on my side of this Kingdom battle, covering me in prayer and getting involved to support my ministry. Many teens took prayer committment cards and came and asked me how they can specifically be praying for me. Amazing! I know for a fact some of them are being prepared for ministry work like mine.
Teens, keep up the good fight. This year is going to stretch you and grow you in ways you didn’t know were possible. Keep each other accountable, be available for each other, and stay involved. So much can be accomplished when you put your mind to it. Praise team, keep up the hard work. You guys have a lot of untapped potential! Lastly, don’t forget to write me on the blog! I can’t wait to hear from you. 🙂
A quick note on support: the Lord has raised up $11,500 in 4 months!!! Do I serve an incredible God or what? Praise Him with me! I asked Him to raise up the funds before I left. I don’t doubt that He will raise the $3500 in these last 12 days. Please be in prayer about this with me. I will not let him rest. Nothing is impossible with God.
Pray Today:
For excellent vision and dental health. I found out today that I no longer have coverage and am trusting the Lord to prevent cavities, toothaches, and any eye problems, lost glasses or contacts. This is a huge point of anxiety for me.I cried over my first cavity. I was 21. So please pray.
For my health. I am currently fighting allergies due to the changing whether and do not look forward to getting on a plane, with clogged ears, sneezing and pressure in my sinus cavities. Yuck. I’ve been trying to fight it naturally, drinking lots of tea, eating local honey and taking vitamins.
For the pilots of my teams flights on October 6. For their alertness and clarity of mind. For the planes, their mechanical inner workings and the people on them.
